Programme for Active Learning (PAL) – Learning Beyond the Classroom!
At Horizon Primary, PAL enriches the learning journey of Primary 1 and 2 students through hands-on experiences in Sports & Games, Outdoor Education, Visual Arts, and Performing Arts. Designed to nurture Confidence, Curiosity, and Cooperation skills, PAL helps students develop essential social-emotional competencies while having fun.
Through engaging activities, students explore, create, and collaborate, building resilience, teamwork, and self-expression. More than just play, PAL fosters lifelong skills, making learning at Horizon joyful, meaningful, and holistic! 🚀

P3 and P4 SwimSafer
At Horizon, students learn swimming at P3 as part of the PE Curriculum through the SwimSafer Programme. SwimSafer is a national initiative designed to teach students swimming skills and water survival techniques. The programme helps students build confidence and become more independent in the water. In addition, it promotes proactiveness and responsibility as students prepare for their SwimSafer lessons by organising their bags and preparing for their SwimSafer lessons.
